Located on Hood River’s west side, this renovation reimagines a once piecemeal home that had grown without a clear center. Limited daylight, disjointed circulation, and a garage-forward entry left the house disconnected from both family life and its surroundings.
The design reorganizes the single-story home with strategic additions, creating a bright central kitchen and more fluid living spaces. A new front entry establishes a welcoming arrival and strengthens the home’s connection to the landscape.
The result is a cohesive, light-filled home that blends traditional warmth with a relaxed modern character.
