The 60 x 6 house measures 60 metres long by 6 metres wide. The design for the home focuses towards capturing the sun's warmth and light, while optimising the sweeping vistas of the vast rural landscape beyond. A singular linear roof form stretches along the east-west axis, with 13 metre long expansive sliders in the main living area opening to the north. The black-stained cedar-cladding wraps around the exterior, the detailing of the entrance screen providing additional texture and privacy yet hinting towards the lush views of the countryside.
