TreadTech is a complete aluminium deck framing system for decks, balconies, pool surrounds, and rooftop applications. Combining height-adjustable deck pedestals (TreadJack) with a strong aluminium subframe (TreadFrame), the system delivers a rot-free, durable solution engineered for New Zealand conditions.

The TreadFrame and pedestal combination can accommodate almost any height from 50 mm upwards (excluding decking thickness), with 115 mm and above being the ideal range for a cost-effective solution. 

TreadTech ensures a precise, level installation across both residential and commercial projects. Backed by a 10-year residential warranty and supported by UNEX Systems’ 40+ years of expertise, it provides a reliable foundation for modern outdoor spaces.

Our TreadFrame aluminium deck subframe - made from aluminium joists, bearers, and components - paired with TreadJack adjustable pedestals with joist cradles forms this TreadTech System. It’s ideal for timber and composite decking installations, providing strength, durability, and easy slope correction for reliable performance.

Tiled Decks
This TreadTech System combines our TreadFrame aluminium subframe with TreadJack adjustable pedestals fitted with joist cradles. Designed for tiled deck installations, it delivers robust support, height adjustability, and slope correction, making it a strong, long-lasting solution.
