Sunset is the perfect sun lounger for any occasion, whether you're enjoying a leisurely nap under its canopy or watching a romantic sunset without it. This sun lounger is designed to be shared. The lightweight canopy not only provides shade but also adds to the overall relaxing experience. Its firm and durable structure is crafted from anodized aluminium, and the bed features POINT’s synthetic Shintotex® fibre, expertly handwoven for a luxurious finish.

Features

Shintotex is a new synthetic fiber for outdoor furniture, inspired by nature and perfected by technology to achieve maximum comfort, functionality and durability. It is made of PP and PE, as well as catalysts, such as UV filters, pigments, additives, anti-statics and plasticisers. It is fully recyclable, highly flexible, resistant to weather changes, abrasive chemical agents, breakage, wear and tear.

Esther Campos

The search for privacy was what guided Esther Campos when it came to designing this canopied sun lounger. Its corrosion-resistant anodised aluminium structure includes a woven base made from Shintotex, a highly resistant recyclable fibre developed by POINT. On the inside, the double sun lounger is reclining. The outside is enveloped by Sunbrella curtains, a technical fabric that is resistant to UV rays, fungus, stains and cleaning processes. “The curtains allow us to create intimate moments in the open air, as well as meaning that, aesthetically, the piece fits into any setting,” explains Campos. “It is an element that evokes a certain romanticism”. The ceiling of Sunset is formed by screen canvas, a fabric with micropores that allows air in but keeps the heat out.
