Jurassic Vein Cut Travertine is a bold and dramatic natural stone featuring rich layers of earthy tones. Travertine, a mesmerising sedimentary rock, emerges from the enchanting interplay of nature's artistry. It is formed through the graceful precipitation of calcium carbonate minerals from mineral-rich waters, often found in the embrace of hot springs or limestone caves.

The genesis of travertine unfolds with the journey of mineral-rich water, gently flowing through limestone deposits. As this water meanders through the rock, it delicately dissolves some of the limestone, carrying along precious minerals like a hidden treasure. Upon reaching the surface of a tranquil cave, a transformation takes place as the water releases its carbon dioxide, coaxing the minerals to gracefully precipitate out of the solution.

Over the eons, these mineral deposits build up, layer by layer, in a timeless symphony of nature's craftsmanship. Eventually, they culminate into a sedimentary rock, celebrated for its exquisite beauty and remarkable texture, the wondrous travertine, a testament to the artistry of the Earth itself.

As such, we began small importing natural stone from India and Portugal. Since then, we have evolved to sustainably and ethically source products from quarries globally.

With almost 40 years of operation under our belt, we are one of Australia's oldest and most experienced importers. Our values, due diligence and experience have ensured we continue to import the highest products while upholding our values and environmental commitment.
