Imagine a melamine door with a seamless edge and no glue line. A door that can be used anywhere, from a kitchen reno on a budget, to a high spec home, to a commercial project.

Invisedge® doors are designed to fit a budget, while being a durable alternative to a lacquered finish, with our signature laseredge seamless edge to create a classy melamine door.

In 2013, we introduced the world of seamlessly edged ‘laseredge’ doors to New Zealand, an edging detail where the edgetape gets melted directly onto the edge of the board instead of using traditional glue methods.

By combining melamine (an affordable yet durable surface, perfect for kitchen cabinetry) surface with a seamless laseredge, Invisedge® is an ideal alternative to lacquer & thermoform – affordable, durable and versatile.

Invisedge® is most commonly used for kitchen cabinet doors, but is also suitable for office furniture, wall paneling, reception areas, shop fittings, household furniture and so much more!

What makes our product Invisedge®, not just any laseredge door?

We know that in order to produce the best, we need to work with the best. Materials. Men. Machinery. They all work together. We have spent years investing into our processes and technology, in order to achieve the best edge for you.

The Surface: We use quality melamine from leading New Zealand suppliers for the face of our Invisedge® door range.

The Edge: We achieve a seamless transition between the panel’s face and edge by utilizing a matching laser edgetape from MKT, a German manufacturer of edgetape. MKT perfectly matte the edgetape to the board, to ensure a seamless, consistent appearance for both the face and edge.

The Sizes: with large panel sizes available, up to 3650x1210m. Available in thicknesses of 18, 25, 30, 36 and 60mm.

The Shapes & Angles: give you flexibility in your designs! Availability varies between colours, so check the color range tab for specific colours.

  • profile ‘shark nose’ handles
  • handle cutouts
  • shaped shelves
  • shaped doors
  • angled edges

The Trademark: Invisedge® is manufactured exclusively by Sage Doors to ensure consistency and quality assurance. Invisedge® is a registered trademark that encompasses our finished door products.

Cleaning: Invisedge® is simple to clean. Simply use a damp, soapy microfiber cloth, then dry with a towel to remove streaks. Due to the deeply textured nature of the product, you may also use a soft brush at times to clean more stubborn marks.

Avoid spraying cleaning products directly onto the face of the door, as this can cause pooling on the bottom of the door, which can lead to swelling over time.
