HB1220 Recessed Blind Box for Motorised Roller Blinds

Halliday + Baillie

he HB1220 is a single recessed blind box extrusion, designed to be set flush into ceiling plasterboard ceilings (10 mm or 13 mm) and conceal roller blinds or motorised blinds and screens.

It provides a minimalist, architectural solution for blinds to ‘disappear’ into the ceiling zone, delivering clean lines and hidden hardware.

Scope of use
  • Ideal for areas where blinds (manual or motorised) need to be concealed for a clean architectural finish, for example large glazed walls, hospital corridors, high-end joinery zones.
    • For your hospital project (with high-spec hardware and premium finish environment) this extrusion suits high-finish ceilings where the blind profile must be hidden from view, maintaining clean ceiling lines.
    • Works particularly well when blinds are part of an automated system or integrated into façade/blind control systems — the extrusion allows a “waterfall” drop of the blind from ceiling level.
    • Since the extrusion is raw and requires finishing, good for bespoke design environments where the final colour/finish must coordinate with joinery, ceiling trims or interior palette.
