Stable, straight and consistent ‘dressed all round’ and sawn hardwood is the perfect start to your timber journey.

Our process uniquely dries timber in slab form of varying widths. After drying is complete and timber is in its most stable form, we straight line cut timber to the finished size. This maximises yield from log, minimises waste and ensures a superior feedstock for the manufacturing lines there after. The result is not just less waste but increased production efficiencies down the line.

Glacial Oak Uncoated

Glacial Oak is ASH’s brand of American Oak, handpicked by region and colour, graded and packed to meet Australian manufacturer’s requirements. Processed in Victoria, Glacial Oak is a stunning and sustainable hardwood and is a superior alternative to the now unavailable Victorian Ash.

Crown cut and beautifully blonde in appearance, Glacial Oak is recommended for many applications including staircase components, lining, furniture and joinery, benchtops and panels, windows and doors, solid flooring and DAR and sawn. We’ll provide a raw, uncoated sample giving you a true appreciation for the natural timber.
