ALPOLIC™ /fr Aluminium Cladding

ALPOLIC™/fr is a fire-retardant aluminium composite material (ACM) designed for architectural cladding applications, including commercial, low-rise, and curtain-wall systems. Manufactured by Mitsubishi Chemical Infratec Co., Ltd., the panels combine two aluminium skins and one of the most advanced fire-resistant materials available.

Compared with solid aluminium panels, ALPOLIC™/fr offers excellent flatness and reduced weight while maintaining structural performance suitable for large façade panels. The aluminium surfaces are coil-coated prior to bonding using advanced Lumiflon® FEVE fluoropolymer coatings, ensuring consistent colour, smooth coating quality, and long-term durability.

  • Fire-Retardant: ALPOLIC™/fr is composed of two aluminium skins laminated to either side of a mineral-filled thermoplastic fire-retardant core. This composition improves fire performance compared with standard polyethylene-core composite panels and is widely used in façade systems designed to meet international fire-safety requirements.
  • Premium Lumiflon® FEVE Coatings: ALPOLIC™ panels are coated with Lumiflon® FEVE fluoropolymer paint. The coating system includes a continuous coil coating line that enhances durability, colour retention, and weather resistance.
  • Dimensional Performance: Panels are available in 4mm thicknesses, widths of 1270mm or 1575mm, and with lengths from 3200mm up to 7200 mm, allowing clean panel layouts and large architectural façade expressions.
  • Global Manufacturing & Quality Assurance: ALPOLIC™/fr panels are manufactured by Mitsubishi Chemical Infratec Co., Ltd., ensuring consistent quality, strict production tolerances, and proven performance across global façade projects.
