Nemo. Now at LightCo New Zealand.

We’re proud to welcome Nemo to the LightCo New Zealand portfolio.
Founded in Milan in 1993 by Franco Cassina, Nemo represents a defining voice in contemporary decorative lighting, balancing innovation, material exploration, and the influence of modernist design.
From precise architectural gestures to bold sculptural forms, the collection spans decades of design thinking and remains at the forefront of lighting today.

Nemo’s most iconic works come from the architects and designers who shaped the visual language of the 20th century. Le Corbusier’s Lampe de Marseille, and Charlotte Perriand’s Applique à Volet Pivotant Plié and Potence Pivotante, remain as relevant today as when they were first designed. Alongside these are contributions from leading contemporary designers such as Arihiro Miyake, Jehs + Laub, and Bernhard Osann, each adding new dimensions to Nemo’s evolving identity and global reputation.
Lampe de Marseille
Designed by Le Corbusier in 1952 for the Unité d’Habitation in Marseille, a landmark of brutalist architecture. This sculptural fixture pairs industrial elegance with functional precision.
Its aluminium body includes two articulated arms and a rotating wall mount, allowing for easy adjustment of light direction. The dual-cone shade offers both direct and indirect LED illumination, creating layered lighting effects that can be tailored to the space.
A versatile choice for dining areas, entryways, and creative studios, the Lampe de Marseille brings scale and personality to interior compositions. Available in three shades with a white internal diffuser, it adds architectural depth to both residential and commercial settings.

This marks the beginning of a new chapter for Nemo in New Zealand, as LightCo becomes the exclusive home of the internationally renowned brand.
Known for its sculptural clarity, architectural expression, and design legacy, Nemo’s full decorative collection is now available through LightCo.
With a portfolio that bridges 20th-century design icons and today’s most forward-thinking designers, Nemo offers lighting that brings intention, character, and quiet innovation to contemporary interiors.
